RAILLIGHTING at InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin
From 22 to 25 September 2026, the international railway industry meets in Berlin. InnoTrans brings together infrastructure managers, contractors, manufacturers, engineers, operators and technology specialists from around the world. RAILLIGHTING will be there. You can find us in hall 25, stand 165.

InnoTrans is one of the leading international trade fairs for transport technology. The event covers the entire Berlin Expo Center, with 42 halls and around 200,000 square metres of exhibition space. The 2026 edition is fully booked. In 2024, InnoTrans welcomed 2,946 exhibitors from 59 countries and more than 169,000 trade visitors from 128 countries.
That is quite a lot of railway expertise in one place.
Railway infrastructure in full view
InnoTrans is divided into five main segments: Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction. For RAILLIGHTING, Railway Infrastructure is particularly relevant.
Railway Infrastructure and Tunnel Construction continue to grow. Together, these segments account for almost 600 exhibitors and more than 32,000 square metres of exhibition space in 2026.
Across the exhibition, electrification, digitalisation, energy efficiency and intelligent infrastructure play an important role. Railway Technology alone brings together more than 1,200 exhibitors.
Outside the halls, 3.5 kilometres of track are used to present complete rail vehicles. The InnoTrans Convention, World Innovation Tours and AI Mobility Lab add another technical layer to the event.
Why RAILLIGHTING is at InnoTrans
Railway lighting starts with visibility where people actually walk and work. RAILLIGHTING develops lighting that follows the railway track and puts light exactly where it is needed.
At InnoTrans, we will show how lighting can become a practical part of the railway environment itself.
Railpuck fits directly into the web of the rail and provides grazing light along pathways alongside the railway track. Installation is quick, the system operates on 36V DC and each luminaire consumes only 2W. Cables run along the rail and installation requires no heavy equipment.
The low position creates contrast at walking level. Uneven surfaces, potholes, loose material and obstacles become easier to see. The light remains within the working area, keeping light nuisance to a minimum. Railpuck is rated IP66/IP68 and IK10 and has an expected lifespan of 60,000 hours.
One modular lighting system
In Berlin, we will present RAILLIGHTING as a complete modular system.
Railsens uses radar technology to detect people along the track. When someone enters the detection area, the connected lighting switches to full brightness. During inactive periods, it automatically dims to 3%. The sensor can be incorporated into a new installation or added to an existing Railpuck line.
Railspot provides targeted railway lighting where extra visibility is required. It can be mounted on handrails, fences and steel structures and connects to the same 36V DC system as Railpuck. This makes it suitable for steps, crossings, platforms, technical installations and other specific working areas.
Together, Railpuck, Railsens and Railspot create targeted railway lighting that adapts to the situation along the track.
